Front Porch Event: Common Lavender Diseases, Diagnostics & the National Lab Network

Description

We’ve all been there… maybe you are there now. You have this one plant, or row of plants, or section of your field that is just not thriving.  You “think” you know what the problem may be - but not sure, is it phytophthora, root rot, mold, or something worse?  Everyone you reach out to gives you their best opinion, but you can’t be 100% sure, and now you can’t sleep worrying about it.

Help is available! Watch our presentation covering some of the more common lavender diseases but with the focus being:

  • How to collect a good sample to get problems diagnosed,
  • How to document site history to provide essential information to the diagnostic lab, and
  • How to get in touch with a diagnostic lab in your state (the National Plant Diagnostic Network of labs).
